The collections

Begin with the mattress, the part of the bed that touches you all night, then choose the base that fits the way you live.

Latexpedic natural latex mattresses

Every Latexpedic mattress is built from pure natural Talalay latex, completely reversible, quilted on both sides and covered by a 20-year warranty. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request.

Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

The bunk bed mattresses are thin, crinkly and nobody sleeps well on them.

The kids begged for bunk beds, and for a week it was an adventure. Now the top bunk crinkles every time someone rolls over, the bottom one has a dip in the middle, and both children wake up grumpy and sore. The bunk frame needs a slim mattress, and slim always seemed to mean cheap and uncomfortable.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress proves slim can be wonderful. Its 7-inch profile suits many bunk and loft beds, yet two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex give each child buoyant, even support that never crinkles, squeaks or sags. Natural latex resists dust mites, and the quilted, zippered cover with handles makes changing sheets on a top bunk far easier. Choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm, with every core rated for firmness in nine separate areas. Completely reversible and backed by a 20-year warranty, it will outlast the bunk bed years and move with them to whatever bed comes next.

Latexpedic

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Every store calls its mattresses “medium,” and nobody can tell you what that means.

One showroom’s medium felt like a cloud. Another’s felt like plywood. Online reviews contradict each other, the labels change from brand to brand, and you are expected to spend a small fortune based on a word that means something different everywhere. No wonder you have ended up with the wrong mattress before.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress replaces guesswork with precision. Every Latexpedic latex core is date-stamped, serialized and rated for firmness in nine separate areas, so Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm mean the same thing every time. Our specialists help you choose based on your weight, sleep position and back, and because the three 3-inch layers zip inside the cover, the feel can be fine-tuned. If your first choice is not quite right, the 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89. Reversible, quilted on both sides, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it is firmness you can finally trust.

Latexpedic

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You never settle for second best, except where you sleep.

Your wardrobe is carefully chosen. Your kitchen is stocked with the good knives, and you know exactly which restaurants are worth the wait. Yet every night you climb into a bargain mattress that sags, sleeps warm and was clearly built to a price. The place you spend a third of your life is the one place you have compromised.

The Ultimate 12-Inch is the luxury you have been missing. Hand-crafted one at a time, it surrounds a 6-inch natural latex core with 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber, and finishes it all in cotton and wool quilting on both sides. The result is deep, buoyant comfort, breathable natural materials and the kind of craftsmanship you appreciate in everything else you own. It is fully reversible, so you have two luxurious surfaces, and any layer can be exchanged as your preferences change. With four handles, four firmness choices and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate finally gives your bedroom the same standard as the rest of your life.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

After eye surgery, you’ve been told to keep your head elevated, even while you sleep.

The procedure went smoothly, and the instructions sounded easy enough: keep your head up for the next few weeks. Then night came. The pillows slid, you woke up flat on your back and worried you had undone the surgeon’s work. Now you sleep in short, anxious stretches, checking your position every time you stir.

The Electropedic WH2 keeps your head exactly where your doctor wants it. Press a button and the head of the bed rises to a steady incline that holds all night, with no pillows to slip and no waking up flat. Lift your knees slightly so you stay comfortably in place without sliding down. Built-in massage helps you relax through recovery, and the wall-hugging design keeps your drops and water on the nightstand within reach. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame. Rest easy while you heal.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

You carry a toddler on your hip all day, and your back knows it.

Up the stairs, through the grocery store, across the parking lot and back again. Your little one wants to be held, and you would not trade it for anything. But by bedtime your lower back aches on one side, your shoulder is knotted, and lying flat leaves you stiff instead of rested.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion helps you recover after a long day of carrying. Press Zero-G and your legs lift while your back settles into a supported curve, easing the pressure on your spine in seconds. Two low-noise massage motors work out the knots in your back and shoulders while you finally sit still. Head and foot articulation and three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote let you find and save your favorite positions, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. Soft under-bed lighting guides you to the nursery at night without waking anyone, USB-A and USB-C ports keep the baby monitor app powered, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it all.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

You knit in bed every evening, and your neck and shoulders are paying for every row.

It is your favorite way to unwind: a project in your lap, a show on in the background and an hour of quiet. But propped on pillows, you lean forward over the needles, your shoulders creep up and your lower back sags. By the time you put the yarn away, you are stiffer than when you started.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion makes your evening ritual truly relaxing. Raise the head, and adjustable lumbar support fills the gap behind your lower back, so you can sit upright and supported for as long as you like. Active head tilt angles your head comfortably toward your work without straining your neck, and dual head and foot massage melts away tension when the last row is done. Under-bed lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets keep everything at hand. With upholstered deck-on-deck styling, 8-inch tapered legs, headboard brackets and a wall-saver design, it is as handsome as anything you have ever made.

Dawn House Smart Bed

Three siblings share Dad’s care, and nobody knows how last night went.

You take Mondays and Thursdays, your brother takes the weekends and your sister covers the rest. The schedule works, but the information does not. Each of you arrives wondering how he slept, whether he was up in the night and whether something has changed, and the group text is full of questions nobody can answer.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion gives the whole family the same picture. Non-contact biometric sensors track his heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns, and the Dawn House app lets each caregiver see how his night went, whoever is on duty. Motion-activated under-bed lighting turns on when his feet reach the floor, and the bed raises and lowers so he can sit and stand at a steady height. He can adjust the head and foot, including Zero-G, by voice or backlit remote, and an optional support rail adds confidence. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it is a beautiful bed that keeps everyone on the same page.

Ergomotion

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

With Parkinson’s, getting out of bed has become a puzzle you solve every morning.

Your mind knows exactly what to do. Your body takes its time. Turning onto your side, sitting up and standing from a low mattress has turned into a slow, deliberate sequence, and some mornings it simply will not come together. You want to stay independent, but the bed is making it harder every day.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion helps the pieces fit together. Raise the head with the wireless remote to bring yourself to sitting without the struggle, then raise the entire platform up to 7 inches so standing takes far less effort. Save your best morning sequence to one of the three presets and recall it with a single press. Under-bed LED lighting shows the floor clearly, and optional support rails give you a steady hand when you need it. Zero Gravity and gentle full-bed tilt keep you comfortable at night, and silent-drive motors keep the room peaceful. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend helps you start each day on your own terms.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

Your leg is in a cast for eight weeks, and the bed has become an obstacle.

Crutches, a heavy cast and a bed that sits at exactly the wrong height. Getting in means dropping down and hoping you do not bump the leg. Getting out means hopping, balancing and grabbing whatever is nearby. Every trip to the bathroom is a small adventure you would rather not have, and there are weeks still to go.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL makes the next eight weeks far easier. At the touch of a button the base moves from about 13 inches to nearly 21, so you can sit down onto the bed and stand back up onto your crutches from a comfortable, steady height. Raise the head to sit up without twisting, and lift the foot to keep the injured leg comfortably elevated. Locking casters keep the bed from shifting as you lean on it, and optional side rails give you a firm grip. Whisper-quiet motors, optional dual-timed massage and wireless or wired controls complete it. Long after the cast comes off, it remains a superb adjustable bed.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

The rental hospital bed wouldn’t even fit through the bedroom door.

The delivery driver tried every angle. The frame was too long, the hallway too narrow, and the bedroom door too tight. In the end the bed was left in the living room, and now Mom sleeps out in the open, surrounded by the noise and traffic of the household, instead of in the quiet room she loves.

The Supernal 3 by Transfer Master is made for real homes. It comes in standard residential sizes, Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, and our own crew brings it into her bedroom and assembles it right where she wants it. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed: one motor raises her head, one lifts her knees, and the third raises the entire bed for caregiving, then lowers it for safer transfers. The illuminated wireless hand control lets her adjust herself, and paired with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress, it looks and feels like her own bed. She gets her bedroom back, and the family gets the living room back.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

Her spine curves forward, and lying flat is simply not possible.

Years of osteoporosis have bent her back into a gentle curve, and an ordinary bed fights her shape. Flat, her head hangs back and her neck strains. Propped on pillows, she slides and tilts to one side. Every night is a search for a position that her body will accept, and most nights the search fails.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master shapes the bed to her, not the other way around. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame. Raise the head and knees to the angles that suit her curve, then fine-tune the whole bed with Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg tilt until she is supported from head to toe. Hi-low height brings the bed up for caregiving and down for safer transfers, all from one simple handset. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, paired with a soft Latexpedic natural latex mattress, it gives her a bed that finally fits, and our own technicians deliver and service it locally.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

He was the biggest lineman on the team, and now he’s recovering from surgery at home.

Six-foot-five, broad shoulders and well over two hundred and fifty pounds of muscle. He has always been strong, but surgery has him off his feet for weeks, and the recovery bed the hospital suggested looks like it was made for someone half his size. He needs to rest, heal and get back to training, and he cannot do it on a cot.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 are built for athletes of every size. Heavy-duty steel construction stays rock solid, and the T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, while the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches, giving broad shoulders room to turn. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed so he can stand without straining his repair, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning meet medical needs during recovery. Optional rails add security. Electropedic matches every Tuffcare with the right mattress, then delivers it, sets it up and services it locally, so he can focus on getting back on the field.

Questions from Glendale customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to Glendale?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout Glendale and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
