The collections

Begin with the mattress, the part of the bed that touches you all night, then choose the base that fits the way you live.

Latexpedic natural latex mattresses

Every Latexpedic mattress is built from pure natural Talalay latex, completely reversible, quilted on both sides and covered by a 20-year warranty. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request.

Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You don’t want to spend a fortune, but you refuse to buy another bad mattress.

You have done the cheap route before. The bargain mattress looked fine in the store, felt fine for a few months and then sagged, softened and started waking you up sore. You replaced it, and the next one did the same. All those savings added up to years of poor sleep and a pile of mattresses headed for the landfill.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress is the smart middle ground. It delivers the real thing, two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex, in a slimmer profile that keeps the investment sensible. Natural latex holds its shape far longer than ordinary foams, so the support you feel on day one is the support you feel years from now. Every core is date-stamped, serialized and rated for firmness in nine areas, and you choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm. With a reversible, quilted design, handles, a zippered cover and natural dust mite resistance, all backed by a 20-year warranty, it is quality you can afford and keep.

Latexpedic

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your “cooling gel” mattress stopped cooling about six months in.

The advertisement promised a cool, refreshing night. For a few weeks it delivered. Then the gel seemed to fade away, the foam started holding heat again, and you are back to flipping your pillow and kicking off the covers at 2 a.m. The cooling feature turned out to be a marketing trick with an expiration date.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress breathes because of what it is, not because of an added gimmick. Natural Talalay latex has an open-cell structure that lets air move through it, so it does not trap body heat the way dense synthetic foams do, and that does not wear off. Three 3-inch layers cradle shoulders and hips while keeping your spine aligned, and because each layer zips inside the quilted cover, the firmness can be tailored. The 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89 if you want a change. Reversible, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it stays comfortable for the long run.

Latexpedic

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You read the spec sheet for everything you buy, except your mattress never had one.

You compare materials, tolerances and test data before choosing a laptop, a car or a pair of running shoes. Then you look at mattress labels and find vague promises, proprietary foam names and no real answers. You are expected to spend thousands on something you sleep on every night without knowing what is actually inside it.

The Ultimate 12-Inch is fully transparent. It is hand-crafted from three ingredients: natural latex, cotton and wool. The construction is simple and documented: a 6-inch natural latex support core between 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber you can open and inspect. Every Latexpedic core is date-stamped, serialized and rated for firmness in nine separate areas, so the specification is measured, not marketed. Cotton and wool quilting covers both sides, and the mattress is fully reversible, with any layer exchangeable as your needs change. Offered in four firmness choices with four handles and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate is a mattress engineered with nothing to hide.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

After open-heart surgery, he isn’t allowed to push himself up with his arms.

The surgeon’s instructions are strict: protect the breastbone while it heals, so no pushing, pulling or using the arms to sit up. Easy to say in the hospital. At home, in an ordinary bed, getting from lying down to sitting up seems impossible without breaking the rules, and every attempt leaves you both anxious.

The Electropedic WH2 sits him up without his arms doing anything. Press a button and the head of the bed raises him smoothly to an upright position, then lowers him just as gently when he wants to rest. Raise the knees slightly to keep him from sliding down, and use the built-in massage to ease a stiff back during the long weeks of recovery. The wall-hugging design keeps the nightstand and his water within easy reach. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame. Recovery is hard enough without fighting the bed.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

Dawn patrol surf sessions leave your shoulders and back aching all evening.

You paddle out before work most mornings, and you would not give it up for anything. But hours of paddling and popping up take their toll. By evening your shoulders are tight, your lower back is stiff and lying flat in bed only seems to lock everything in place before tomorrow’s early alarm.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion helps you recover between sessions. Press Zero-G and your legs rise while your back settles into a supported curve, taking the pressure off your spine and letting tired muscles relax. Two low-noise massage motors work through the tightness in your back while you unwind, and head and foot articulation lets you find the angle that feels best. Three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote save your favorite recovery positions, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your phone charged for checking tomorrow’s surf report, soft under-bed lighting guides your predawn exit, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it all.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

You debug code in bed until 1 a.m., and your back files a bug report every morning.

The laptop is warm on your knees, the deadline is close, and you are hunched forward over the keyboard with a pillow jammed behind you. Hours later you look up to find your neck locked, your shoulders up around your ears and your lower back aching. Tomorrow you will do it all again.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion is the ergonomic setup your late nights need. Raise the head, and adjustable lumbar support fills the gap behind your lower back, so you can sit upright and supported for long sessions. Active head tilt keeps your head at a comfortable angle toward the screen instead of craning forward. When you finally close the laptop, dual head and foot massage melts the tension away, and one touch takes you to flat. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your devices charged, and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets saves your favorite positions. With upholstered deck-on-deck styling, 8-inch tapered legs and headboard brackets, it looks like fine furniture, too.

Dawn House Smart Bed

Dad spent forty years in aerospace, and he still wants to see the data.

He has measured, tested and analyzed everything his whole career. Now he is retired, his doctor keeps asking how he sleeps, and he hates answering with a shrug. He wants numbers, not guesses, and he would like to stay in his own home, getting around safely on his own, for as long as possible.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion speaks his language. Non-contact biometric sensors track heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns every night, and the Dawn House app turns the readings into clear insights he can review in the morning and share with his doctor. Head and foot positions, including Zero-G, respond to voice commands or a backlit remote. The bed raises and lowers so he can sit and stand at a steady height, motion-activated under-bed lighting guides him at night, and an optional support rail adds confidence. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it is a beautiful, well-engineered bed that any engineer would appreciate.

Ergomotion

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

With MS, your energy runs out early, and getting out of bed spends too much of it.

Every day starts with a limited supply of energy, and you have learned to spend it carefully. Yet before breakfast you have already used a share of it just getting up: sitting up from a flat mattress, steadying yourself on legs that feel uncertain and pushing up from a bed that sits too low. It is a costly way to begin the day.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion lets the bed spend the energy instead. Raise the head to bring yourself to sitting with a touch, then lift the entire platform up to 7 inches so standing takes far less effort and balance. Optional support rails give you a firm handhold as you rise, and under-bed LED lighting shows the floor clearly. At night, Zero Gravity and gentle full-bed tilt help you rest comfortably, and silent-drive motors keep the bedroom peaceful. Save your morning and evening positions to the three presets on the wireless remote. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend helps you save your energy for what matters most.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

A compression fracture in his spine makes every move in bed painful.

It happened with barely any warning, and now even small movements hurt. Rolling to sit up, twisting to reach the floor and lowering himself into a low bed all send sharp pain through his back. He lies as still as he can for hours, which brings its own aches, and you can see how much he dreads every transition.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL keeps the movement gentle and the bed doing the work. Press a button and the head rises slowly, bringing him toward sitting with far less twisting or straining. The whole base moves from about 13 inches to nearly 21, so he can sit and stand at a height that keeps bending to a minimum, and caregivers can help without leaning over him. Whisper-quiet motors make each change smooth, optional dual-timed massage soothes a stiff back, and locking casters and optional side rails add stability. In Twin, Full, Queen and Split King, with wireless or wired controls, it gives him a calmer, gentler way to heal.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

Her condition is progressing, and you want to stay one step ahead of it.

Every few months something changes. She needed a little help, then more help, and now you can see where things are heading. You do not want to keep scrambling after each new need, buying one thing and then another, always reacting a step too late while she waits uncomfortably in between.

The Supernal 3 by Transfer Master is ready for what comes next. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed: one motor raises her head, one lifts her knees, and the third raises or lowers the entire bed for caregiving and safer transfers. Today she may use only the head and foot. Tomorrow, the height adjustment will save caregivers’ backs and make every transfer steadier. The illuminated wireless hand control lets her stay in charge of her comfort for as long as she can. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, paired with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress, it fits her bedroom, and our own team delivers it, sets it up and services it locally.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

The doctor ordered a fully electric bed with Trendelenburg, and the supplier sent a hand crank.

You read the order twice: fully electric, with Trendelenburg positioning. What arrived was a basic frame with a crank at the foot, one motor at best, and no way to tilt the whole bed at all. Now you are cranking it up and down several times a day, and the positions the doctor asked for are still out of reach.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master is exactly what the doctor described. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame, providing true Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg tilt at the press of a button. There are no cranks at all, and every position is smooth, quick and repeatable. Raise the bed for caregiving and lower it for safer transfers, all from one simple handset. Available in Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it looks at home in a bedroom, and it pairs beautifully with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress. Our own technicians deliver it, set it up and provide local service.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

You run a small residential care home, and your beds have to work for every resident.

Residents come and go, and each arrives with different needs. One week it is a slight woman recovering from a fall, the next a tall, heavy man after surgery. Light-duty beds wobble and wear out, your caregivers strain their backs, and you cannot afford to replace equipment every time someone new moves in.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 are built to serve every resident. Heavy-duty steel construction stays solid and quiet through constant use, and the T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, while the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches for residents who need more room to turn. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed to protect caregivers’ backs and lowers it for safer transfers, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning meet medical needs. Optional rails add security. Electropedic matches each bed with the right mattress, delivers it, sets it up and provides local service, so your home keeps running smoothly.

Questions from Hawthorne customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to Hawthorne?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout Hawthorne and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
