The collections

Begin with the mattress, the part of the bed that touches you all night, then choose the base that fits the way you live.

Latexpedic natural latex mattresses

Every Latexpedic mattress is built from pure natural Talalay latex, completely reversible, quilted on both sides and covered by a 20-year warranty. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request.

Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your Craftsman has a sleeping porch, and nobody has slept on it in years.

It was built for warm nights and cool breezes, with screened windows on three sides and a view of the trees. Somewhere along the way it became a storage room for boxes and patio furniture. You would love to bring it back to life, but the old daybed mattress out there is flat, musty and far from inviting.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress makes the sleeping porch a retreat again. Its slim profile suits daybeds and classic frames, and two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex provide buoyant, even support for long naps and summer nights. Natural latex resists dust mites, mold and mildew, and the quilted, zippered cover with handles is easy to turn and air out in the breeze. Choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm, with every core rated for firmness in nine separate areas. Completely reversible and backed by a 20-year warranty, it lets you enjoy your home exactly the way its builders intended.

Latexpedic

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You sleep on your back, and by morning your heels and tailbone ache.

Back sleeping is supposed to be good for you, and it is how you have always slept. Yet lately you wake with sore heels, a tender tailbone and the feeling that all your weight has been resting on a few small points all night. You shift your legs, tuck a pillow under your knees and still feel it in the morning.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress spreads your weight more evenly. Natural Talalay latex responds to every point of pressure, letting your heels, tailbone and shoulder blades settle in gently while the latex rises to support the curve of your lower back. The result is a more even distribution of weight and fewer sore spots by morning. Three 3-inch layers zip inside a quilted cover, so the feel can be tailored, and the 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89 if you want it softer. Reversible, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it makes back sleeping as comfortable as it is supposed to be.

Latexpedic

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your home was built by hand a century ago, and your mattress was stamped out by a machine.

You fell in love with the house for its craftsmanship: hand-cut joinery, old-growth wood and details that no factory could reproduce. Every piece of furniture you have added respects that heritage, except the one you use most. Your mattress came compressed in a box from an automated line, and it feels every bit as anonymous as it sounds.

The Ultimate 12-Inch is crafted the way your home was built: by hand, one at a time, from honest natural materials. A 6-inch natural latex core sits between 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber, all wrapped in cotton and wool quilting on both sides. Every Latexpedic core is date-stamped, serialized and rated for firmness in nine separate areas. The mattress is fully reversible, and any layer can be exchanged over the years, so it can be cared for like the rest of your home. With four handles, four firmness choices and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate belongs in a house built to last.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

With pericarditis, the chest pain eases when you sit up, and returns when you lie down.

The doctor explained the inflammation around your heart and said it should settle with treatment and rest. In the meantime, lying flat brings a sharp ache to your chest, while sitting up and leaning forward makes it bearable. So you spend the nights propped on a pile of pillows, sliding down and waking every time the pain returns.

The Electropedic WH2 lets you rest in the position that feels easiest. Press a button and the head of the bed rises to a steady, upright angle that holds all night, with no pillows to slip and no sliding back down. Adjust it a little higher or lower whenever you need to, without getting up. Lift your knees slightly to stay in place, and let the built-in massage help you relax. The wall-hugging design keeps your medication and water within reach. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

You hiked to the top of the mountain, and your legs haven’t forgiven you yet.

Thousands of feet of climbing through switchbacks and pines, then the long descent that punishes your knees and thighs with every step. The view was worth it. But that evening your calves are tight, your quads ache and your lower back is stiff from the pack, and the stairs at home suddenly feel like the trail all over again.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion helps hikers recover. Press Zero-G and your legs rise above your heart while your back settles into a supported curve, easing tired legs and taking pressure off your spine. Two low-noise massage motors work through tight calves and a sore lower back. Head and foot articulation lets you find the angle that feels best while you look through your summit photos, and three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote save your favorite recovery positions. One touch returns you to flat for deep sleep. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your phone charged for planning the next trail, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it all.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

You spend your days bent over drawings, and your back has started to protest.

Plans, elevations, details and revisions, hour after hour, leaning over the drafting table or hunched toward the screen. The buildings you design will stand for generations, but your own posture is falling apart. By evening your neck is stiff, your shoulders are tight and your lower back aches from holding the same curve all day.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion is thoughtfully designed for recovery. Adjustable lumbar support rises into the curve of your lower back, so you can sit up in bed with real support. Active head tilt brings your head to a natural, relaxed angle, and dual head and foot massage releases tension from shoulders to calves. Zero-G takes the load off your spine, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. Under-bed lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets keep everything within reach, and the upholstered deck-on-deck design, 8-inch tapered legs and headboard brackets reflect the kind of clean detailing you would appreciate.

Ergomotion

Dawn House Smart Bed

Mom lives just one floor down in your building, and it still feels too far at night.

It seemed like the perfect arrangement: close enough to drop in every day, separate enough for everyone’s privacy. During the day it works beautifully. At night, though, one floor feels like a mile. You cannot hear her, you cannot see her light and you have no way of knowing whether she slept well or got up and struggled.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion closes that small but important gap. Non-contact biometric sensors track her heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns, and the Dawn House app lets you see how her night went from upstairs. Motion-activated under-bed lighting turns on the moment her feet touch the floor, and the bed raises and lowers so she can sit and stand at a steady height. She can adjust the head and foot, including Zero-G, by voice or backlit remote, and an optional support rail adds confidence. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it is a beautiful bed that keeps you close without crowding her.

Ergomotion

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

After your ankle replacement, putting weight on that foot is something you do carefully.

The new joint promises years of pain-free walking, but first comes a careful recovery. You have been told exactly how much weight to put on it and when, and getting out of a low bed means pushing up with your good leg while protecting the new ankle, a balancing act you do not quite trust yourself to perform.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion makes that balancing act easier. Raise the entire platform up to 7 inches, so you can stand mostly with your strong leg and your arms, placing only as much weight on the healing ankle as your surgeon allows. Raise the head first to come up to sitting smoothly, and use optional support rails for a firm handhold. While you rest, lift the foot section to elevate the ankle, or choose Zero Gravity for full-body comfort. Under-bed LED lighting shows the floor, and silent-drive motors with three presets keep it simple. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend supports every careful step.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

Your aunt sold her house and moved in with you, and her room needs to work for her.

She raised her family, buried her husband and finally decided the big house was too much. Now she is living with you, grateful and a little uncertain, in a guest room that was never meant for someone her age. The bed is too low, the mornings are slow and you want her to feel at home, not like a visitor.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL turns the guest room into her room. At the touch of a button the base moves from about 13 inches to nearly 21, so she can sit and stand at a comfortable height, and the head rises to help her sit up in the morning. The foot adjusts on whisper-quiet motors, and optional dual-timed massage helps her unwind at night. Locking casters keep the bed steady, and optional side rails add security if she wants them. With simple wireless or wired controls, in Twin, Full, Queen and Split King, it looks like a lovely bedroom bed, ready for her favorite quilt and family photos.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

The agency sends a different aide every week, and each one has to learn the bed.

You are grateful for the help, but the faces keep changing. Every new aide arrives unfamiliar with Dad’s routine and confused by the rental bed’s clumsy controls and hand crank. Precious time goes to figuring out the equipment instead of caring for him, and Dad gets tired of being the one who explains how everything works.

The Supernal 3 by Transfer Master is simple enough for anyone to learn in a minute. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed: one motor raises his head, one lifts his knees, and the third raises the whole bed for caregiving, then lowers it for safer transfers, all from a clear, illuminated wireless hand control with no cranks at all. Any aide can pick it up and know exactly what to do. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, paired with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress, it looks like a real bedroom bed, and our own team delivers it, sets it up and services it locally.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

When his Parkinson’s medication wears off, he can barely move at all.

Between doses there are stretches when his body simply will not cooperate. He cannot roll over, cannot shift his legs and cannot sit up, and he is stuck in whatever position he was in when the medicine faded. Those periods are uncomfortable and frustrating, and they often come in the middle of the night.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master moves him when his body cannot. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame, so you or he can change his position with the press of a button, even during the hardest stretches. Raise his head, ease his knees, or use Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg tilt to shift his weight and relieve pressure without lifting him. Hi-low height brings the bed up for caregiving and down for safer transfers, all from one simple handset. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it suits his bedroom, and our own technicians deliver and service it locally.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

A broken hip is hard enough, and being a big man makes the recovery harder.

The fall was sudden, the surgery went well and now comes the long road back. But the standard recovery bed feels small and shaky beneath him, the height is wrong for standing on a healing hip and every transfer takes two people and a lot of worry. He wants to heal at home, and he needs a bed built for him.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 give his recovery a solid foundation. Heavy-duty steel construction stays steady and quiet, and the T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, while the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches for room to turn comfortably. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed so he can stand with less strain on the healing hip and lowers it for safer transfers. Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning meet medical needs at home, and optional rails add security. Electropedic matches the right mattress, then delivers it, sets it up and services it locally.

Questions from Pasadena customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to Pasadena?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout Pasadena and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
