Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your relatives are arriving from overseas to start a new life, and they need a place to rest.

They have left behind nearly everything they knew, and they are arriving with a few suitcases and a lot of hope. You have cleared out a room and gathered what you can, but the bed is an old spare that sags in the middle. After everything they have been through, you want their first nights here to feel safe and welcoming.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress offers a comfortable welcome. Two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex give buoyant, even support for bodies tired from a long journey, with no springs and no synthetic foams inside. Natural latex resists dust mites, and the quilted, zippered cover with handles makes the mattress easy to flip and care for. Choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm, with every core rated for firmness in nine separate areas. Completely reversible and backed by a 20-year warranty, it is a sensible, lasting gift that will serve them well as they build a new home, and it says, simply, that they are welcome here.

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your elbow aches every time you sleep on your side, and you wake up with it throbbing.

The tendon has been sore for months, and nights are the worst. Lying on your side, your arm ends up bent under your pillow or pinned beneath your body, and by morning the elbow is stiff and aching. You keep trying to sleep with your arm straight, but you drift right back into the same position.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress gives your arm and shoulder room to rest. Three 3-inch layers of natural Talalay latex let your shoulder sink in comfortably on your side, so your arm can rest in a more relaxed position instead of being wedged under you. The support beneath keeps your spine aligned, and the responsive latex makes it easy to change positions without fully waking. Each layer zips inside a quilted cover, so the feel can be tailored, and the 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89 if you want it softer. Reversible, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it helps sore joints get the rest they need.

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your days start with meditation and yoga, then you sleep on a slab of synthetic foam.

You take care of your body and mind with intention: mindful mornings, thoughtful meals and an unhurried practice that keeps you grounded. Then you lie down at night on a mattress made from petrochemical foam that traps heat and leaves you stiff. It is the one part of your routine that feels completely at odds with everything else.

The Ultimate 12-Inch brings your nights into harmony with your days. Hand-crafted from natural latex, cotton and wool, it surrounds a 6-inch natural latex core with 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber, so the feel can be tuned to your body. The buoyant support keeps your spine aligned, the comfort layers ease pressure, and breathable cotton and wool quilting on both sides keeps you cool and calm. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request. Fully reversible, with four handles, four firmness choices and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate lets your rest be as mindful as your practice.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

A torn meniscus means your knee needs to stay raised and straight, and the pillows won’t cooperate.

The orthopedist said to keep the knee elevated to control the swelling, especially at night. So you build a stack of pillows under your leg, and by midnight they have shifted, your knee has bent and dropped, and the throbbing wakes you. You rebuild the stack in the dark and try again, night after night.

The Electropedic WH2 keeps your leg elevated all night with no pillows at all. Press a button and the foot of the bed rises to a steady height that supports your leg and holds it there, so the swelling has a chance to go down while you sleep. Raise the head for a comfortable reclined position, and let the built-in massage ease the tension in your back from days of favoring the knee. The wall-hugging design keeps your nightstand within reach. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

Four days of convention lines and crowded halls, and your legs and back are done.

You waited hours for the big panel, walked miles of exhibit floor and stood in line after line for signatures and exclusives. It was worth every minute. But by the last day your feet throb, your calves are tight and your lower back aches from carrying bags and standing still for so long.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion is the perfect after-convention recovery. Press Zero-G and your legs rise above your heart while your back settles into a supported curve, easing tired legs and taking pressure off your spine. Two low-noise massage motors work through tight calves and a sore lower back. Head and foot articulation lets you sit up comfortably to sort through your haul, and three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote save your favorite positions. One touch returns you to flat for deep sleep. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your phone charged for all those photos, soft under-bed lighting guides late-night steps, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it all.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

Hours bent over the shaping bench leave your back and neck aching.

Every board takes hours of careful work: planing, sanding and checking the rails with your hands and eyes, bent forward over the blank in a cloud of dust. The finished board rides beautifully. But at the end of the day your lower back is stiff, your shoulders are tight and your neck aches from looking down the whole time.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion helps craftsmen recover. Adjustable lumbar support rises into the curve of your lower back, so you can sit up in bed with real support. Active head tilt brings your head to a natural, relaxed angle after hours of looking down, and dual head and foot massage releases tension from your shoulders to your calves. Zero-G takes the load off your spine, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. Under-bed lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets keep everything within reach, and the upholstered deck-on-deck design, 8-inch tapered legs and headboard brackets reflect craftsmanship you can appreciate.

Dawn House Smart Bed

Dad’s doctor wants to watch for changes in his sleep, and nobody is there at night to notice.

The diagnosis was mild cognitive impairment, and the doctor explained that changes in sleep can be an important early sign of how things are progressing. Dad lives on his own and insists he is fine. He cannot remember whether he slept well last week, and you are not there to see for yourself.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion keeps a quiet record. Non-contact biometric sensors track heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns every night, and the Dawn House app shows trends over weeks and months, giving the family something real to share with his doctor. Motion-activated under-bed lighting turns on as his feet reach the floor, and the bed raises and lowers so he can sit and stand at a steady height. He can adjust the head and foot, including Zero-G, by voice or backlit remote, and an optional support rail adds confidence. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it is a beautiful bed that supports his independence while keeping the family informed.

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

Plantar fasciitis makes your first steps out of bed feel like stepping on a nail.

It is worst first thing in the morning. You swing your feet down from a low bed, push up and put your full weight onto your heels all at once, and the sharp, stabbing pain shoots through the bottom of your foot. You hobble the first few steps, and the rest of the morning is spent waiting for it to ease.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion helps you ease into the day. Raise the head with the wireless remote to come up to sitting comfortably, giving you time to flex and stretch your feet while you are still seated. Then raise the entire platform up to 7 inches, so you can stand gradually from a higher seat, shifting weight onto your feet more gently. Optional support rails give you a steady hand, and under-bed LED lighting shows the floor. At night, Zero Gravity and gentle full-bed tilt let you rest comfortably, and silent-drive motors keep the room quiet. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend makes first steps easier.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

Every time Dad stands up from bed, his blood pressure drops and he goes lightheaded.

He sits up, swings his legs over and stands, and for a moment his face goes pale and he grabs for the nearest thing to hold. The doctor said to get up slowly and in stages, but from a low, flat bed there is no gentle way to do it, and you hold your breath every single morning.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL lets him rise in gentle stages. First, raise the head on whisper-quiet motors and let him sit up slowly while still supported by the bed. Then raise the base, which moves from about 13 inches to nearly 21, so he can sit on the edge with his feet flat for a moment before standing from a comfortable height, with less effort. Locking casters keep the bed from shifting as he steadies himself, and optional side rails give him a firm handhold. With optional dual-timed massage and wireless or wired controls, in Twin, Full, Queen and Split King, it makes mornings safer, one gentle stage at a time.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

Mom lives in a downtown condo, and getting a care bed up there feels impossible.

The building requires an elevator reservation, a certificate of insurance and deliveries only during certain hours. The hallway is long, the unit door is narrow and the parking situation is a puzzle. The first company you called said they would leave the boxes in the lobby, and the second never called back.

With the Supernal 3 by Transfer Master from Electropedic, our own crew helps you plan around the building’s rules, then brings the bed up to her unit and assemble it in her bedroom. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed: one motor raises her head, one lifts her knees, and the third raises the whole bed for caregiving, then lowers it for safer transfers. The illuminated wireless hand control lets her adjust herself. Because it comes in Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it fits a condo bedroom just like a regular bed, and with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress it feels like one too. Local service is always a phone call away.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

Her trunk muscles have weakened, and she keeps slumping sideways in bed.

Multiple sclerosis has taken much of the strength from her core. When she sits up, she gradually leans to one side until she is half slumped against the rail, uncomfortable and unable to straighten herself. You prop her with pillows and rolled towels, but within an hour she has slid over again.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master helps hold her in a supported, upright position. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame. Raise her knees to cradle her hips, raise her head to support her back, and use reverse Trendelenburg tilt so gravity helps settle her into the bed rather than pulling her sideways or down. Every position is steady and repeatable from one simple handset, and hi-low height brings the bed up for caregiving and down for safer transfers. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it suits her bedroom, and our own technicians deliver, set up and service it locally.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

You reinforced his old bed with plywood and extra legs, and it’s still not enough.

It started with a sheet of plywood under the mattress when the middle began to sag. Then came extra legs in the center when the frame started to bow. Now the bed is a patchwork of fixes, it still creaks and dips, and you know it was never meant to hold what it is holding.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 replace the patchwork with a bed built for the job. Heavy-duty steel construction stays solid, level and quiet: the T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, and the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches for more room to turn. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed for caregiving and lowers it for safer transfers, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning meet medical needs at home. Optional rails add security. Electropedic matches the right mattress, then delivers it, sets it up and services it locally, so the plywood and patches can finally retire.

Questions from San Diego customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to San Diego?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout San Diego and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
