The collections

Begin with the mattress, the part of the bed that touches you all night, then choose the base that fits the way you live.

Latexpedic natural latex mattresses

Every Latexpedic mattress is built from pure natural Talalay latex, completely reversible, quilted on both sides and covered by a 20-year warranty. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request.

Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your child’s eczema flares at night, and the scratching keeps everyone awake.

You have tried the gentle soaps, the special creams and the cotton pajamas. Still, after bedtime the itching starts, and you hear the scratching through the monitor. By morning there are new red patches, a cranky child and two exhausted parents, and you wonder whether something in the bed is making it worse.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress gives sensitive skin a cleaner place to rest. Two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex provide gentle, even support, with no synthetic foams inside, and natural latex resists dust mites, a common trigger for sensitive skin. The quilted, zippered cover with handles makes the mattress easy to flip and care for. Choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm, with every core rated for firmness in nine separate areas. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request. Completely reversible and backed by a 20-year warranty, it is one more thoughtful step toward calmer, more comfortable nights for your child and for you.

Latexpedic

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your mattress was folded and crushed during the move, and it has never been the same.

The movers bent it in half to get it up the stairs, strapped it tight in the truck and dropped it on the new bedroom floor. Since then there has been a crease across the middle, a lumpy patch on your side and a sag that was not there before. You love the new house, but you have not slept well since the day you arrived.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress gives your new home the fresh start it deserves. Our own crew delivers it and carries it into your bedroom with care, so it arrives in perfect condition. Three 3-inch layers of natural Talalay latex provide even, resilient support that springs back and keeps its shape, cradling shoulders and hips while keeping your spine aligned. Each layer zips inside a quilted cover, so the firmness can be tailored, and the 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89. Reversible, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it makes your new house feel like home.

Latexpedic

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You spend every free hour on the open-space trails, and then you sleep on synthetic foam.

Oak woodlands, wildflowers and long, quiet hikes through the hills. Nature is where you feel most like yourself, and you try to bring that spirit into your home with natural fibers, fresh air and simple, honest materials. Then you climb into a bed made of petroleum-based foam, and the contrast has never felt sharper.

The Ultimate 12-Inch brings the natural world into your bedroom. It is hand-crafted from three ingredients: natural latex, tapped from rubber trees, along with cotton and wool. A 6-inch natural latex core sits between 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber, all wrapped in breathable cotton and wool quilting on both sides. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request. The comfort is buoyant and supportive, and the materials breathe like a cool morning on the trail. Fully reversible, with four handles, four firmness choices and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate lets you rest as naturally as you live.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

Inflammation in your chest wall makes lying flat painful, and every breath reminds you of it.

The doctor called it costochondritis and said it would settle down with time. In the meantime, lying flat on your back puts pressure exactly where it hurts, and rolling onto your side sends a sharp twinge across your ribs. You end up propped on pillows that slip, and each night is a restless search for relief.

The Electropedic WH2 helps you find a position your chest can tolerate. Press a button and the head of the bed rises to a gentle, supported incline that eases pressure across your ribs, and it holds that angle all night with no pillows to shift. Adjust it a little higher or lower whenever you need relief, without having to push yourself up. Raise your knees slightly to stay comfortably in place, and let the built-in massage help your back relax. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

Twelve hours photographing a wedding leaves your back, shoulders and feet completely spent.

From the morning preparations to the last dance, you are on your feet, carrying heavy cameras and lenses, crouching for the perfect angle and climbing onto chairs for the group shots. The couple will treasure the images forever. You will feel the day in your body for the rest of the week.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion helps photographers recover after the big day. Press Zero-G and your legs rise above your heart while your back settles into a supported curve, easing tired feet and taking pressure off your spine. Two low-noise massage motors work out the knots in your back and shoulders. Head and foot articulation lets you sit up comfortably to cull the day’s images on your laptop, and three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote save your favorite positions. One touch returns you to flat for deep sleep. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your laptop and phone charged, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it, season after season.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

Hours at the piano bench leave your back aching and your shoulders tight.

Scales in the morning, repertoire in the afternoon and lessons in the evening. You sit tall, or try to, but after hours on a bench with no back support, your lower back aches, your shoulders creep up toward your ears and your neck stiffens from leaning toward the music. The playing is beautiful; the posture is exhausting.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion gives musicians the support a piano bench never could. Adjustable lumbar support rises into the curve of your lower back, so you can sit up in bed and rest with genuine support after a long practice. Active head tilt brings your head to a natural, relaxed angle, and dual head and foot massage releases tension from your shoulders to your calves. Zero-G takes the load off your spine, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. Under-bed lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets keep everything within reach, and the upholstered deck-on-deck design looks like fine furniture.

Ergomotion

Dawn House Smart Bed

You spent your career as a nurse, and now you want to keep an eye on your own health.

For decades you monitored patients, charted vital signs and noticed the small changes that others missed. Now you are retired, living on your own and well aware that sleep is one of the earliest places health problems show up. You would like that same careful attention for yourself, without wires, cuffs or anything strapped to your wrist.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion gives you that attention every night. Non-contact biometric sensors built into the bed track heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns, and the Dawn House app turns the readings into clear trends you can review each morning and share with your doctor if you choose. The bed itself is just as thoughtful: adjust the head and foot, including Zero-G, by voice or backlit remote, raise or lower it for easy sitting and standing, and let motion-activated under-bed lighting guide your late-night steps. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it is a beautiful bed that lets a lifelong caregiver care for herself.

Ergomotion

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

Pressure on your spinal cord has left your hands clumsy and your balance uncertain.

The diagnosis explained a lot: the dropped coffee cups, the trouble with buttons and the unsteadiness on your feet. Surgery may be ahead, but for now every morning starts with a careful effort to sit up, find your balance and stand from a low bed without stumbling, with hands that do not grip the way they used to.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion makes those first moments steadier. A simple press of the wireless remote raises the head, bringing you to sitting without relying on your grip. Then lift the entire platform up to 7 inches so standing takes less strength and balance. Optional support rails offer a broad, solid handhold, and under-bed LED lighting shows the floor clearly. At night, Zero Gravity and gentle full-bed tilt let you rest comfortably, and three presets let you return to your favorite positions with a single press. Silent-drive motors keep everything quiet. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend helps you start each day on steadier ground.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

Her leg ulcers need daily dressing changes and constant elevation, and the bed makes both harder.

The nurse visits every morning to change the dressings, bending low over the bed while you hold Mom’s leg in place. The rest of the day, the leg is supposed to stay raised, but pillows slip and slide until her foot is back down on the mattress. The wounds are slow to heal, and everyone is frustrated.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL helps with both jobs. At the touch of a button, the base rises to nearly 21 inches, so the nurse can change dressings at a comfortable height without bending, then lowers to about 13 inches for safer transfers. The foot section lifts on whisper-quiet motors to keep her legs elevated steadily all day and night, and the head rises so she can sit up for meals and visits. Optional dual-timed massage helps her relax, locking casters keep the bed steady and optional side rails add security. With wireless or wired controls, in Twin, Full, Queen and Split King, it supports her healing.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

The twin-size hospital bed feels so narrow that Mom says she feels trapped.

She has slept in a queen bed for most of her life. Now the medical supply company has delivered a narrow twin with rails, and she lies stiffly in the middle, afraid to turn over. She says it feels like sleeping in a box, and her nights have become anxious and restless.

The Supernal 3 by Transfer Master gives her room to breathe. Unlike most hospital beds, it comes in Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, so she can return to a size that feels familiar and spacious. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed: one motor raises her head, one lifts her knees, and the third raises the entire bed for caregiving, then lowers it for safer transfers. The illuminated wireless hand control lets her adjust herself. Paired with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress and her favorite bedding, it feels like her own bed again, and our own team delivers it, sets it up and services it locally.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

After weeks in intensive care, his neck and trunk are too weak to hold him upright.

He survived, and everyone is grateful. But the long stay left his muscles weak, and when he sits up, his head drops forward and his body slumps sideways within minutes. Meals, conversations and therapy all require him to sit upright, and right now he cannot do it without someone holding him in place.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master supports him while his strength returns. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame. Raise his head and knees to a supported, reclined seated position, then use reverse Trendelenburg tilt so gravity settles him back into the bed instead of pulling him forward or down. Adjust gradually as he grows stronger, and use Trendelenburg when his care calls for it. Hi-low height brings the bed up for caregiving and therapy, all from one simple handset. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it suits his bedroom, and our own technicians deliver and service it locally.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

His last bed tipped forward when he sat on the end, and he hasn’t trusted a bed since.

It happened in an instant: he sat down at the foot of the bed to take off his shoes, and the whole frame lurched forward. He caught himself, but the scare stayed with him. Now he lowers himself onto the mattress slowly and carefully, testing it each time, and he never quite relaxes, even when he is lying still.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 are built to stay planted. Heavy-duty steel construction keeps the frame solid and stable, whether he sits at the edge, the foot or the middle. The T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, and the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed so he can sit and stand at a comfortable height, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning meet medical needs at home. Optional rails add security. Electropedic matches the right mattress, then delivers it, sets it up and services it locally, so he can finally trust his bed again.

Questions from Thousand Oaks customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to Thousand Oaks?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout Thousand Oaks and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
