The collections

Begin with the mattress, the part of the bed that touches you all night, then choose the base that fits the way you live.

Latexpedic natural latex mattresses

Every Latexpedic mattress is built from pure natural Talalay latex, completely reversible, quilted on both sides and covered by a 20-year warranty. Certified organic GOLS latex with GOTS cotton and wool is available on request.

Latexpedic

The 7-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Your overnight caregiver sleeps in the next room on a bed nobody else would use.

She arrives every evening, gets your father settled and stays close in case he needs her in the night. She is patient, skilled and irreplaceable. But the bed in the spare room is an old, sagging mattress that leaves her stiff before her shift even ends, and you know a tired caregiver cannot give her best.

The 7-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress shows her how much you value her. Two 3-inch layers of pure natural Talalay latex provide buoyant, even support that lets her rest well between checks and wake ready to help. Its slim profile suits the frame already in the room, and the quilted, zippered cover with handles is easy to care for. Natural latex resists dust mites, and every core is rated for firmness in nine separate areas. Choose Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm. Completely reversible and backed by a 20-year warranty, it is a small investment in the person who makes it possible for your father to stay at home.

Latexpedic

The 10-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

Arthritis in one shoulder forces you onto the other, and now both of them ache.

You cannot lie on the bad shoulder at all, so every night you sleep on the good one. But hour after hour of carrying all your weight has worn it down, too, and now you wake up with both shoulders sore, a stiff neck and nowhere comfortable left to turn. Every position seems to hurt something.

The 10-Inch Latexpedic Natural Mattress takes the load off your good shoulder. Three 3-inch layers of natural Talalay latex let your shoulder sink in gently, spreading the pressure instead of concentrating it on one painful point, while the support beneath keeps your spine and neck in line. You may even find you can rest on your back more comfortably, giving both shoulders a break. Each layer zips inside a quilted cover, so the feel can be tailored, and the 10-day firmness exchange swaps a layer for a flat $89 if you want it softer. Reversible, naturally resistant to dust mites and backed by a 20-year warranty, it lets both shoulders rest.

The Ultimate 12-Inch Natural Latex Mattress

You prefer a simple life with fewer, better things, and your mattress doesn’t fit that philosophy.

You have spent years paring down: fewer possessions, better made, chosen with care and kept for a long time. Clutter and disposable goods have no place in your home. Yet the mattress you sleep on was bought in a hurry, filled with synthetic materials and already showing signs of wearing out, the opposite of everything you value.

The Ultimate 12-Inch reflects a life of simple quality. It is hand-crafted from just three ingredients: natural latex, cotton and wool. A 6-inch natural latex core sits between 3-inch comfort layers on top and bottom, each in its own zippered chamber, all wrapped in cotton and wool quilting on both sides. There are no synthetic fillers and nothing unnecessary. Because it is fully reversible and any layer can be exchanged, it can be maintained for decades rather than replaced. With four handles, four firmness choices and a 20-year warranty, The Ultimate is one well-made thing that will serve you for a very long time.

Why back support matters

Every mattress company talks about comfort. The most important thing a mattress gives you is the right back support, and the right firmness is how you get it.

Electropedic

Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed

Chemotherapy leaves you queasy, and lying flat makes the nausea worse.

The treatments are working, but the days after each one are hard. Your stomach churns, and the moment you lie down flat the queasiness rises. You try to sleep propped on pillows, but they slide away, and you wake up feeling worse, too tired to get comfortable and too uncomfortable to sleep.

The Electropedic WH2 lets you rest in the position that settles your stomach. Press a button and the head of the bed rises to a gentle, supported incline, a position many people find eases nausea, and it holds steady all night with no pillows to slip. Adjust it higher or lower whenever you need to, without having to push yourself up. Raise your knees slightly to stay comfortably in place, and let the built-in massage help you relax on difficult days. The wall-hugging design keeps water and medication within reach. The WH2 looks like a fine traditional bed, comes in Twin through Dual King in 74, 80 and 84-inch lengths, and carries a 20-year limited warranty on motors, electronics and frame.

Ergomotion

Rio 4.0 Adjustable Bed

Standing at the crosswalk every school day leaves your back and legs aching.

Morning and afternoon, rain or shine, you stand on the corner in your bright vest, stepping into the street with your sign and watching every car. The kids wave and the parents thank you, and you love it. But hours on your feet on hard pavement leave your calves tight, your knees sore and your lower back stiff.

The Rio 4.0 by Ergomotion helps you recover between shifts. Press Zero-G and your legs rise above your heart while your back settles into a supported curve, easing tired legs and taking pressure off your spine. Two low-noise massage motors work through tight calves and a sore lower back. Head and foot articulation lets you find the most comfortable angle for an afternoon rest, and three programmable presets on the 13-button wireless remote save your favorite positions. One touch returns you to flat for deep sleep. USB-A and USB-C ports keep your phone charged, soft under-bed lighting guides early morning steps, and a 10-year limited warranty backs it all.

Ergomotion

Rio 6.0 Adjustable Bed

Hours bent over stained glass leave your neck and back aching long after the light is gone.

Cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering, each window takes hours of close, careful work, leaning over the bench with your head bowed and your shoulders tight. When the finished piece catches the sunlight, it is breathtaking. When you finally straighten up, your neck is stiff, your shoulders burn and your lower back aches.

The Rio 6.0 by Ergomotion helps artists recover. Adjustable lumbar support rises into the curve of your lower back, so you can sit up in bed with real support after a long session. Active head tilt brings your head to a natural, relaxed angle after hours of looking down, and dual head and foot massage releases tension from your shoulders to your calves. Zero-G takes the load off your spine, and one touch returns you to flat for sleep. Under-bed lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging and an 18-button wireless remote with three presets keep everything within reach, and the upholstered deck-on-deck design, 8-inch tapered legs and headboard brackets reflect fine craftsmanship of their own.

Dawn House Smart Bed

Dad just got a pacemaker, and he’s nervous about being alone at night.

The procedure went smoothly, and the doctors say his heart is in good hands. But Dad is uneasy. He lies awake listening to his heartbeat, wondering whether the device is working, and he hesitates to tell anyone how anxious he feels. You want to reassure him, and you want some reassurance yourself.

The Dawn House Bed by Ergomotion offers peace of mind for both of you. Non-contact biometric sensors built into the bed track heart rate, respiration and sleep patterns, and the Dawn House app shows how his nights are going, so you can see that he is resting and he can see it too. Motion-activated under-bed lighting turns on as his feet touch the floor, and the bed raises and lowers so he can sit and stand at a steady height. He can adjust the head and foot, including Zero-G, by voice or backlit remote, and an optional support rail adds confidence. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it helps him sleep easier.

Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt

You care for your wife at night, and you need to get up fast, but your own knees won’t cooperate.

She calls out, and you need to be at her side quickly. But you are not young yourself, and your knees have their own opinions about getting out of a low bed in a hurry. You push, groan and wobble to your feet, and every night you worry that one day you will be too slow or too unsteady to help.

The Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt by Ergomotion helps the caregiver get up quickly. Keep the platform raised up to 7 inches, so standing takes far less effort from your knees, and press the wireless remote to bring yourself to sitting in seconds. Optional support rails give you something firm to push against, and under-bed LED lighting shows the floor the moment you swing your legs over. When you return to bed, Zero Gravity and gentle full-bed tilt help you rest and recover. Silent-drive motors will not disturb her, and three presets save your favorite positions. Rated for 750 pounds, Ascend keeps you ready to help.

Flexabed

Flexabed Hi-Low SL

Severe anemia leaves her so tired that getting out of bed feels like climbing a mountain.

Her blood counts are low, and the fatigue is unlike anything she has experienced. She gets dizzy when she sits up too quickly, short of breath when she stands and worn out before she has even reached the kitchen. The doctors are working on the cause, but for now, every morning starts with an exhausting struggle.

The Flexabed Hi-Low SL helps her save her energy. Press a button and the head rises slowly, bringing her up to sitting gently, with time to adjust before she moves further. The base moves from about 13 inches to nearly 21, so she can stand from a comfortable height with minimal effort, and you can help her without bending. The foot adjusts on whisper-quiet motors for comfortable rest, and optional dual-timed massage soothes tired muscles. Locking casters keep the bed steady as she rises, and optional side rails give her a firm hold. With wireless or wired controls, in Twin, Full, Queen and Split King, it makes mornings easier.

Transfer Master

Supernal 3 Hi-Low Bed

Mom is deaf, and when she needs help in the night, she can’t easily call for it.

She has never let her deafness slow her down, but nighttime is different. She cannot hear you if you call from the next room, and calling out herself is harder than it sounds. When she needs to sit up or get comfortable, she struggles on her own rather than waking the house, and you worry about what she is not telling you.

The Supernal 3 by Transfer Master puts more independence at her fingertips. Its illuminated wireless hand control is easy to see in the dark, so she can raise her head, lift her knees or adjust the height of the bed herself, without needing to call anyone. It is a 3-motor, fully electric hi-low bed, with the height motor raising the bed for caregiving and lowering it for safer transfers. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, paired with a Latexpedic natural latex mattress, it fits her bedroom beautifully. Our own team delivers it, sets it up and demonstrates every button visually, so she knows exactly how it works.

Transfer Master

Supernal 5 Hospital Bed with Trendelenburg

He still plays his guitar every day, and sitting up to play has become a struggle.

Music has been his companion for sixty years, and even now, mostly confined to bed, he reaches for his guitar every afternoon. But he slumps, slides and cannot hold himself upright long enough to get through more than a song or two. The music is the best part of his day, and it keeps getting cut short.

The Supernal 5 by Transfer Master gives him a steady seat for playing. Five fully electric motors control the head, the knees, the height of the bed and the angle of the entire frame. Raise his head and knees to a supported, upright position, then use reverse Trendelenburg tilt to keep his body straight and settled, with his arms free to play. Afterward, lower him gently to rest, and use Trendelenburg when his care calls for it. Hi-low height brings the bed up for caregiving and down for safer transfers, all from one simple handset. In Twin, Full, Queen and Dual Split King, it suits his room, and our own technicians deliver and service it locally.

Tuffcare

Tuffcare T7036 and T7042

His wife is his caregiver, and she lives with multiple sclerosis herself.

She loves him and insists on caring for him, but her own strength comes and goes. Some days her legs are unsteady and her hands are weak, and helping a big man sit up, shift in bed or stand is more than her body can safely manage. They both worry about the day one of them gets hurt.

The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 do the heavy lifting for both of them. Fully electric hi-low operation raises the bed to a height where she can help without bending or straining, then lowers it for safer transfers, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning let her change his position with the press of a button instead of her own strength. Heavy-duty steel construction stays solid and quiet: the T7036 is rated to accommodate up to 600 pounds on a 36 by 80-inch deck, and the T7042 widens to 42 by 80 inches. Optional rails add security. Electropedic matches the right mattress, then delivers, sets up and services it locally.

Questions from Whittier customers

Do you deliver natural latex mattresses and adjustable beds to Whittier?

Yes. Electropedic delivers, sets up and services every product on this page throughout Whittier and all of California with its own staff, working from the Burbank showroom at 907 N. Hollywood Way. We can also take away your old mattress. Call (800) 727-1954 to schedule.

Which firmness should I choose?

Every Latexpedic mattress comes in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. The right choice depends on your weight, sleep position and back. Our specialists will guide you, and the 10-day firmness exchange lets you change a layer for a flat $89 charge.

Will a Latexpedic mattress work on an adjustable or hi-low bed?

Yes. Latexpedic mattresses are made to flex with adjustable beds and hold their shape in every position, including Zero-G, Trendelenburg and split king configurations.

What is the difference between an adjustable bed and a hi-low bed?

An adjustable bed raises the head and foot of the mattress. A hi-low bed also raises and lowers the entire bed, which makes transfers safer and gives caregivers a comfortable working height. The Ascend, Flexabed, Dawn House, Supernal and Tuffcare models offer height adjustment.

Can I try these beds before I buy?

Yes. Every model is on display at the Burbank showroom, open Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4. Used beds at half the regular price, rentals and financing for qualified buyers are also available.
